Thumbs down so a fire was started in my car

the wire that runs from your fuse box to the amp must of rubbed the coating of whatever that shit is, and became an exposed wire and made contact with metal on the seats and fused together with the metal and now it wont come off. do you think i hurt anything? i just unplugged it from the fuse box.

Did it blow the fuse? Well hopefully you had it connected to the dead side of the fuse. Run a new wire, if it blew the fuse I don't think you have anything to worry about...Next time you hook it up to a fuse, meter the slot in the fuse box without the fuse in it, one side will show voltage and one side will not...Hook the wire to the side of the fuse that doesn't show any power, that way if it arcs it will just blow the fuse.
