Simultaneous Hi/Low Beams
Anyone knows how to re-wire the headlights so both Hi & Low are turned on with the steering column switch in "Hi beam"?

Painless wiring makes a kit that will do that. I think it is under 20 bucks and gives you directions, wiring and relays to to it right.

Somewhere theres a write up on how to make your driving lights, low and high beams all on at once when you hit the highs, but I can't remember where it is. Should be able to find it on here...

I have that mod... it' a painless wire module... take any GM truck version of it and follow the instructions the same... works great... been with that mod for the last 5 years, at least... not 1 glitch since.

here you go......
- Under the hood, on top of the left fender liner, you will find a junction box with a bunch of relays.
- Find the relay marked "Fog Lamps". Under this relay you will find four wires - brown, yellow, purple and light green.
- Cut the light green wire.
- Attach a piece of wire to the end that goes to the relay and run it to a good ground.
- Tape up the other end of the light green wire to prevent shorting.
Now your fog lights will continue to work when the high beams are on.
Bear in mind that this is illegal in most states because you will have more
than four lights on at the same time when your high beams are on.
And dont put higher wattage bulbs (other than maybe the 37.5 watt ones)
because it will melt the plastic and ruin the housing.
