There's a tiny bulb in the slider housing for the gear indicator.
Can't remember the part number damit. But I've had to change mine.
It's just a small push/pull lamp.
You'll have to pull out your ash tray and remove the 2-10mm bolts down in the tray hole and IIRC a couple in the consol under the consol bucket insert..
I don't have mine here @ this house but I can take a run if needed..
As for the lamp in the HVAC controls you have to pull the face cover and remove the 8-10mm bolts holding the HVAC controls in place..
Don't yank on it tho or you won't like the results lol..
ANy auto parts should be able to look the lamp numbers up and give you the correct ones..

ok I'm working on this now. It seems the HVAC lamp might be the easier one to do? I will be leaving soon so I cant spend a lot of time on it. How do I pull out the HVAC panel? took the 2 bults out and looks like wires are holding it in place now and why I cant get it out.
HELP master Yoda lol

It can be pulled out just far enough to disconnect the wires and vac connection.
Don't yank it, use a small screwdriver to pry the connector fasteners apart.
And do the same for the control cable..

ok I got the HVAC bulbs out of the control unit, now how do the bulbs come out? do I need the follow the wires down and disconect or do the bulbs pop out?

I can't get the bulbs out nor can I get a grip on the small things, now I see there is a gray clip that comes off the back of the black piece the bulbs are in but it looks like I would have to take the wires out of it to free them.

The bulb does'nt have a plastic socket it actually just has a spade shape made into the lamp itself. Then the lamp goes into a fixed harness socket..
It should just pull strait out..
However, sometimes they can get hot and melt the socket and the bulb will be stuck.. In which case the socket may need replaced..
Post a pic if you can...

no signs of the bulbs being melted to the sockets. so just the little glass bulb should pull out huh... I'll try again...hope its the bulbs that is the problem why my Hvac lights dont come on. Hope its not like the BCM was
