One of your bulbs is burnt out. Either front or rear. Replace it.

^^^^This is the most common problem. ^^^^
But sometimes it is the blinker. Does it work ok for the left side?

Same problem happened to me again today. I just replaced that bulb a month ago and the connector was rather charred. I noticed when it had just burnt out my voltmeter was at about 15 and shaking a bit. Anyone know what this is from?

its from water getting into the housing. I had this issue and replaced my housing a couple times bc of cracks. I ended up drill 1/4" hole in the bottom so water could drain, havent had an issue with them for yrs now. And I ended up replacing the socket...you can pick one up at a parts store for under $10 if I remember correctly. Dorman p/n 85881, you can just replace the socket housing (no need to cut or sodder wires). Just take apart the socket housing by removing the inner piece and then the 3 wires pull out...use a wire brush to clean off the wires and insert them into the new housing.

Might want to add some dielectric grease in the socket to protect it from moisture and corrosion. The dielectric can also double as a lubricant for your weather seals.

Ahh. U know what now that I think about it... it was always worse right after i washed my car. This is also the reason of the voltage spiking at highway speeds?

Voltage just spiking whenever now. Will be shaky up around 15 then when shifting into next gear itll drop right down to 13 and then start to creep back up with increased rpms. I'm just worried I could end up blowing my amplifier or HU due to the voltage jumping up. Is 15 high enough to cause damage to electronics?

I may be wrong but I think the flasher works both left and right. If the left is working the flasker is working. May be a dumb ?? but have you check the bulb in the front?

You just need to check will bulb doesn't light up. If the turn signal is activated, and the bulb stays on, it's working just fine, and the problem is with the other bulb. Now, if both are on, don't know what to tell you; I'd assume it was the unit itself.

This is a VERY common and infamous problem with F-bodies. As you said, it happens after you wash it. It will likely happen if you drive through rain as well. Be sure to put some dielectric grease in the socket before you put the bulb in. This will help keep the socket dry.

I went through a good 30 bulbs on my 98 TA, and so far I have gone through 3 changes in 7 months on my 02...

Thx for all the info everyone. I just want to know if this is causing my voltage to arc how it is? Since the socket is so charred and eaten up and all?

Ah don't know about that. I had a charred socket as well. I was able to buy a new socket for 9 bucks at parts store Just has 3 wires that you pull out and pop back in...

I'm hoping that's all it is from. Otherwise I risk blowing up both my amplifiers
