Well I'm not running off the stock deck so I can run whatever I want. No more monsoon system for me. I'm running off mu new pioneer head unit. More powerful and the speakers are A LOT better quality over the stock ones. And the sound... Awesome. Screw a monsoon. Memphis car audio! You won't go wrong

well i put a jeson head unit (yeah i know "jenson") in mine with no problems and i have a couple speakers blown that i'm going to replace which is why i was wanting to know about the ohm's. i'd like to put a nice pioneer hu in there with some clarions. i've always kinda liked clarions they've always sounded real good and are pretty good quality and not bad priced. i havent decided on a sub. thought about taking the 12" solo baric out of my truck and putting in there but havent decided yet.

Well as long as you are using an aftermarket headunit, you can put whatever speaker you want in there. As for subs there are lots of choices. I'm getting a box from subthump that has holes cut to hold my t tops and u can put 2 10s or 2 12s in there

As for your cd player. Yes a good headunit will make all the difference in the world. I shopped around and found mine for $209 on sale. We have a few audio shops here competing for business so we can find good deals on stuff. Walmart sales pioneer cd players but I believe they are factory refurbished. Although I have bought 1 from there and never had a problem with it.
