Well All ALMOST sounds good. But you need the P310D4 if your just gonna have one sub and need 2ohms at the amp, because if you have D2 you can make it at 1 ohm or 4 ohm end load. The D4 can be wired to 2 ohm or 8 ohm!! Now, you said a mono or Class D as I prefer, which should be stable at 1ohm load. Is this amp said to be? If so, then get the D2, if you wanna run the 2ohm load, then get the D4. Thats all that is left to figure out and then you need to get it poppin! Also, for the amp kit-get a 4guage not an 8. And you will need to get two distribution blocks to split the power/chassis ground to the 2 amps. Glad to help

Dual 2 ohm voice coils would be a 1ohm load in parallel. A dual 4 ohm voice coil subwoofer is what you want, if your running it in 2ohms for a single sub. OOPs, posted it and seen Maverick already answered it.

    BTW:
To get the 2 Ohm Load -
Hook the positive of one of the coils to the positive of the other coil and then run it the positive on the amp. Similarilty, run the negative of one coil to the negative of the next, and then off to the amp.
