    Removing the gauge clusters?

Long story short, I need to remove the gauges because I have a screwed up contact on one of the led's.(the light is flickering on and off)

I already removed the clear bezel and removed the 4 bolts around the cluster. The problem: The entire cluster is loose but is somewhat still connected to the rest of the dash. Anybody know the rest of the procedure?

As you can see, all the bolts are out from the cluster but somthing is still holding it back. Any help? Thanks

last time i took out a ss cluster was back in 02 but if i remember right after all the noticeable ones that you can see looking straight at it are out i think thier was one on each side going straight up like into the dash pad ... not pos. but take a look for that... after that i had to tilt the steering wheel down pull on the dash upward as i pulled the cluster out ... it wasnt a hard pull but enough to see that the dash pad pushes down on it and hold it ... see if that helps

There are 4 bolts holding it in. If you got those 4 bolts in the 4 corners then pull hard. Mine was tight comming outta there. Its a snug fit into the connectors
