    Rear Defrost light replacement?

Thanks guys for taking the time to hear me out. Well my problem is with my rear defrost button. I can't tell if it works anymore because the lite right above the button stop lighting up when I push it. Is it just the bulb inside or the whole system. When I try and see if it still works without the light being there I hardly see a difference with my window clearing up. What do you guys think.

i had a simular problem and my power seat stoped workin because they are on one of those circuit breaker type fuses. they are both on the same circuit. see if the power seat works if it doesnt pop the cover off the fuse panel and pull out that breaker type fuse and put a 30 amp regular fuse in. from what i heard this is a common problem. hope this helps. oh yeah when it was doing this the light did not come on

I know this is an old post but did you get it fixed?

I have the same thing on a 02 Camaro. I press the rear defrost light but the light does not come on. My power seat works fine. I haven't checked any fuses, will shortly.

Have you tried holding the switch to see if the light comes on? Maybe just a problem with the switch.

holding the button didn't do anything special, or at least no light. I can hear it make the little click noise each time i press it.

since all of the fuses are intact. i think i will need to pull it apart this weekend and see if anything jumps out at me.

the parts guy said you replace the whole panel at 233 bucks. That would suck just for one dumb switch.
