Radio Controls on the Wheel
I read a fix on a thread here that I can't find now on how to fix the bulb for our radio controls on the wheel. Anyways, I tried it ($2.00 vs $90) and I either did something wrong or I just do not know how to solder right. Any suggestions??

I had the same problem... I tried soldering in a new bulb and replacing the entire control unit. Niether worked, so I came to the conclusion that it was a wiring issue. Now niether of them light up so it looks okay. Sorry I couldnt help.

Yep...thats's the one...followed to a T, but still not working, The controlls still do, so I didn't screw it up too bad...
My only other gripe is my 12 disk changer doesn't work, gives an error code, I think E33, have to look one more time. Autozone and dealer can't seem to tell me what it means...

Not sure about the cd changer. don't have one of those. But I did the fix with the lights..solder new ones in..done a check and they did work but when I put them back in..no go... Maybe I shouldn't have touched something I know nothing about anyway but I thought I done a good job... the major problem I had was the wires in the wheel.. they are just too short and I broke a clip on one that holds it in and then I broke the clip on the wiring harness...anyway I've heard that even if you buy new ones...the lights still don't last very long.....just gonna have to live with it I suppose.
I done this right after I replaced the lights in the door handles...that worked out so well too
