Power usage for '98 camaro dome light
Okay, here's a question I have not been able to find the answer to:
How many amps does the stock dome light (over the rear passenger seats) use?

Okay, never mind. I found the answer. The #561 bulb uses 0.97 amps. Wow! I guess it does make sense to replace all the stock bumbs with LEDs; or even groups of LEDs!
So apparently, for all the LEDs I've installed for my interior lighting, the power consumption comes out to about 9% of the power used to light the 1 stock filament bulb. Again, WOW!

Cobrahunter,
Could you share some of what you've replaced? I would like to look into that venture.

I've replaced the stock dome light with 4 LEDs, and the map lights with LEDs.
I have added several LED light bars by the foorwells and well as under the seats. I also added LEDs in the engine.
