    depending on how much you actually use your radio, just put the ant. on a switch, it stays down, keeps the lines clean,

    yeah, that would be pretty neat, ...but right now, i'm using the radio 100% of the time, as the CD player is busted, and i don't think there are any other inputs.. i need to stop being lazy and buy a new head unit, one w/ USB and aux input - that's all i really care about, is a set of modern inputs to accept any device.

    good plan, then its stupid simple to put it on a switch, thats what i did, went pioneer HU, oldschool rochford/alpine amp/subs, next is the sail panel speakers that went tits up on me lol

    thats what i did. i spend around $135 for a new kenwood unit that has aux/usb ports. no more Cd's

    I installed a short antenna the other day. Took quite a bit of modification and fabrication to make, but it looks awesome on my Trans Am. I'll add a picture in awhile.

    if you get the specific harness for the radio in your vehicle is pretty easy.
