    operation hushmat / jl audio

    Here goes operation what the hell was I thinking:

    2 bulk packs hushmat
    1 jl audio 5 channel amp
    Jl audio 6.5 front components
    jl audio 6.5 coax rear speakers
    10 inch jl audio sub in stealth box
    jl audio clean sweep
    12 band-aids
    1` perfectly good pair of jeans

    (i was going to post step by step photos but for whatever reason it says i cant)

    i really like the factory look, i wanted the system to be stealth, i have done this in my daily driver truck for years with great success, plus it saves some cashola

    Your system looks good. I have a JL 10W6v2 in a stealth box with a JL 500/1 Slash Series amp. What 6.5" components do you have and are you using the amp to power the two tweeters in the front door panels.

    I meant do you have the VR, XR, etc. series of JL Components. You said you have 6.5" components in the door and coaxials in the rear, that means you have 3 speakers on each side. How are you powering all 6 with a 5-channel amp, are you powering the tweeters?

    no, they fit perfect, i made the amp rack from plywood and cheap carpet
