    i was orginally going to go down the passenger side, but i didn't want to hook up directly to the battery. and the batt aux is on the driver's side, i didn't think i would have a long enough power-cable to make it from there, accross the engine bay.. down the door etc to the trunk....

    why didn't you want to connect directly to the battery? Just for cable length concerns? Mine is...any reason not to?

    lenght of the cable, and cleanliness... I didn't like the cable going to the battery.
