    Odometer back light

    It seems my odometer backlight has went out in my TA. I can still see the display but there is no backlight is there a fix???

    yes, you have to remove the kick panel, disconect the trunk release button, then Gentley pull on the face plate (becarefull if you break it its not going to sit properly anymore) then remove the nuts and the whole cluster comes off (just pull it as where you can service the bulbs) the only part that you can service is the bulbs so youre safe. now turn on your lights and find out which one is burnt out, then twist pull, then remove the bulb and replace, although you might want to turn your lights on again to make shure you got in in right. if its not, then twist on the socket untill it ligts up. for re-instalation just reverse it. it should take you about 30mins pretty simple job.

    tools required: Philips #2 screwdriver, 10MM socket and ratchet or 9/32in socket and ratchet.

    If that doesn't work then you could send it to Blackcatcustom.com and they can fix it. They can change the color of it if you want too. I was going to do mine in blue. They make cool cluster faces also.

    Sorry just got back to doing this fix (a year later lol)......this is for the LED odometer backlight correct..seems straight forward.
