No more antenna!
i dont want this effing antenna is there any way to replace it with something and still get a signal? do you guys get what ime saying.. like new cars now adays dont have big antennas they have those fin looking things... is there an equivilant like a cap or plug or something?
i figured id ask...2001 Camaro SS M6 SLP LMII, Lid
1987 iroc-z RIP 5.7 TPI Full exhaust, lingenfelter intake runners (gone but not forgotten)

If you can get the hole filled you can get a hidden antenna. You could mount it under the dash panel.

Shaved the antenna and got an ipod cable. Problem solved!

Yeah I'm not so much worried about the reception.. I don't listen to much radio but some hater bent mine 90 degrees and inow it will never be perfectly straight again.. Which got me thinkin its just ugly anyways lol they stopped making them for a reason

I had an extra stock antenna, so I used my dremel to shorten it to 10-12 inches. Get great reception and love the looks of it much better.

just made myself a shortie from an extra i had layin around took maybe 47 secconds to make including plugging in the dremel

I thought Camaros had retractable antenna's or is that just a Firebird thing? I always assumed they were the same. If not that shorty one looks way better than a 2ft one by far
