    New speakers...need info!

My drivers side speaker took a poop on me so i need to replace them and I figure i might as well do all of them. So what am i looking for as far as sizes for the front and rear speakers. I hear JL's are pretty much the best for the price. True or no? Any help is greatly appreciated!

I just put in the New Infinity Kappas Components in the doors and 2 ways in the back seats.

    6.5" for both

With the New Kappas the sound is Amazing, i have the Older Kappas in the truck and they don't even compare

i got the infinity reference 6020cs model and i didnt have to modify anything, everything you need is included in the box.....the front 6.5's screwed right in, and the front tweeters came with adapters, the rear 6.5 came with a metal adapter plate that i needed and the tweeters again had the housing that i just used 3m double sided tape to keep in there since there is no original spot for a tweeter.....the only thing is my car is a firebird and our door panels are completely different so im not sure how yours would mount...and they are 2ohms also.

I need to replace the rear 4". They are the stock speakers and are attached with some sort of grommet...

How the hell do I take those out so I can bolt up the new speakers???

just un-hook them, and run the rear hatch wires to the sail panel speakers and upgrade these. Dont even bother with the rear hatch's

polk are def the best for the price. you can hear them at circuit city and you can get them on amazon for like $115 a pair. alpine are good for the money too. i put some in another car a year ago at $45 a pair (they were $110 a pair at best buy). they sounded good.

I just took a pair of 6.5's and 4's back to CC yesterday. The both sounded bad. The rear 4" sounded horrible.

I have those in my Probe and they are pretty good. But not for the Monsoon I am guessing.

I had Hertz installed in the doors with a custom tweeter pod and those sound great. But, I'm not paying to have the the other speakers installed. Too easy. I'm gonna just go back to sound man and buy the Hertz for the sails and maybe just wire the rears up like mentioned above.

Do you use the Monsoon HD with those Polk's?

Just wondering what my problem was with them if you are
