Need help finding a stereo for my C5
My vette is a 99 and as some of you know it came from the factory with a cassette player in the dash I want to update the look of the car and get a stereo that will fit perfectly with the right adapter and possibly still allow the use of the factory 12 disc changer. Can anyone reccomend to me something? Live in Germany so I will be doing the installation myself. Iv'e done a few before I would just like the correct adapters and head unit size to make it smooth and easy. Not intersested in running amps or aftermarket speakers, I am happy with the sound of the factory bose. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I just bought a new HU for my Trans Am, and I think the best place to shop and compare is Crutchfield.com. Once you find what you like, shop around though, as many places have them much cheaper and you can piece together the other items like harness, antenna and steering wheel control modules. I saved close to $120 by ordering from 3 different sites for my setup.
But if you don't want to fuss with all that, Crutchfield puts together a perfect package.2000 WS6 TA #2946 - A4, Best 1/4: 12.5s @111mph.
SLP LTs, 228r Cam, SY 3500, Shift kit, LS6 intake, underdrive pulleys, lid, p&p TB, Borla w/ cutout, Pro-kit springs, poly all around, Hotchkis suspension, 3.90 gears, tuned.
