Ok, What I want to do is keep the factoy look for my WS6.
My thoughts are to keep the Monsoon HU and shit can the speakers / Amp.
I want to go with Focal for the drivers, have not decided on who's amps.
Has anyone tried this setup with the factory HU and if so, how did it come out.

I do not have a factory HU. But I do have Focal front and back. IMO Focal is the best out there. That comes from my first pioneer in 81 until now. If you're not trying to tell everyone on the street what music sounds like then go Focal. I have had many friends say the car stereo sounds better than their home stereo. And no I am not talking cheap home stereo's.

Makes me feel good.
I have 20k in my system at home. (been an audiophile for 30 years)
Accuracy over SPL anytime.
Still, I'd like to keep the HU if I can.
A good amp and drivers can make things real nice.

It can be done with the factory HU. But IMO why?? I take it you want the factory look. Eclipse HU here that blows the factory away.
