My radio hates my Burnt cds

The stock radio in my '05 GTO hates burnt cds. It plays the early tracks fine, but then the later tracks skip, no matter what. Is it the player, the cds, me? It plays store-bought cds just fine. Anybody else have this problem or have suggestions on what to do?

Slow down the burner when you burn them.
    See if that helps.

The monsoon in my grand ma gt doesn't care what speed I burn them at, but the monsoon in the T/A likes them to be burned at 8x or so. Takes longer, but not a big deal if it stops the skipping.

That and make sure you don't buy cheap CD-Rs as they tend to scratch easier.

my gto plays burnt cd's fine. I burn at 16x but always use memorex cd's. I bought a 100 pack of those cheap ones years ago and had tons of problems like you're describing. What brand of cd's are you using? Like these guys said too...slow your burner down and see if that helps. How old is your burner and what software are you burning with?

I use Roxio Creator 8 and have never had a problem...except when I use cheap CD's. Never had an issue with Sony, Maxell, Verbatin or Fujifilm.

yeah, thats what i was gonna say, slow down the burn speed, if your burner doesnt allow you to choose a certain speed, their should be a quality option.....go for highest quality, not fastest burn.

other than that, I dunno what to tell you.

Try adjusting the speed at which you burn them.
