Monsoon speaker thoughts - convert

Ok, the monsoon sound system in my convert is garbage, fidelity is poor. So i was thinking of putting better coax speakers in the rear panels, ones that can push some air, and run a lo pass filter on them to make them woofers. Going to keep the car stock, ie no sub in trunk.

Checkout Kee Audio, he has setups designed to replace Monsoon system speakers/ subs, specifically for Fbodies.

You will never get much in the way of bass out of the rear speakers in the vert. They just don't have any type of enclosure like a door or trunk.
