Monsoon Doors, no two hookups?

    Monsoon Doors, no two hookups?

    Just removed my door speakers from my Firebird and the door speakers dont have two connectors on them like in the sticky for installing the 62.7i's. What am i missing?

    Do you have Monsoon?

    Did you account for separate tweeter wires as well?

    The writeup I did on 62.7i's states is for Camaro's only. T/A's have a seperate tweeter that isn't mounted on the woofer like the Camaro. You could use the 62.7i's and just hook up the woofer connection and use them for your mids in your doors and use the factory tweeter like it is. Or you could run the factory tweeter wire to the 62.7i, but I think you would get better imaging with the stock location on the Ponitac cars.

    oh gotcha, wow that completely slipped by me. thanks. so if i just hook up the woofer connection im only gonna get the mid to low sounds? so therefore dont need a really nice speaker? just enough to handle the power?
