Yes - but why?? Do you have an aftermarket HU? The sails get much more power from the Monsoon amp than a HU would....unless you have full range coaxs there (then I would just use the hatch wires since I doubt you'd want full range from doors, sails, AND hatch). As for the doors - running new wires directly from the HU isn't hard.

Silver- 2003 GTI 1.8T :(
from what i understand either you
A. know exactly what you're doing or
B. pay someone else to do it and it cost a lot of money
i heard it costs a lot to have someone like best buy bypass the monsoon... so if you're gonna do ANYthing.. you might as well go ahead and do it ALL once u made the initial investment
but once again i could be completely off we will see what other people say tho.. sorry i couldnt completely help tho

Depends what he has currently -- usually there is no reason to bypass it or parts of it on a stock setup, and is actually disadvantageous.

I have a pioneer head unit and have replaced all the speakers but the hatch speakers with after market,
Tweeters in the Mirror caps, Three ways in the doors and mids in the sailes
And they are 4 om speakers and if i don't have to use my crossover for the tweeters, the better but if i have to i am game for that.

i have a factory head unit and speakers. but installed an amp and sub. if you totally repalce the power wire and ground on the monsoon amp, you get a better current, and a very slightly better sound. and with doing that, you can bridge your aftermarket amp right into the monsoon amp, and not have to run two seperate amps. just be sure to re wire the monsoon, if not you will arc your power wire, and possibly burn your car to the ground.
