    2009 Pontiac G8 GT

    Monsoon amp switched power...

    I am using the switched power to the monsoon amp to switch the power on to my sub amp. I know that gm radios decrease the bass volume te louder the volume gets. Has anyone ever used the same to switch the power to a 3rd party amp? It seems work fine until the volume is about 3/4 the way up and then turns off. When in my truck it stays on constantly. So I know it is not the amp. is it possible that the monsoon amp turns off at loud volumes?

    If anyone cares, the mp puts out enough voltage to barely turn them amp on. Butter to use the switched power from the head unit.
