The cubby in the back might be too small for a 12. If you think you can squeeze one in there try to make a custom box. It is really not that hard. As long as you have the equipment to cut the mdf you will be fine. It is also a lot cheaper then buying one pre built. The only down side is it takes a lot time haha thats why i had to buy mine.

If you make a box with MDF for the cubby, you might be able to get .70 cu ft of air space which is way too small for a sealed 12-in sub (even too small for most 10's). I've seen people getting around and above 1 cu ft with fiberglass boxes, but you'd have to glass up and around the wheel well to get enough for a decent 12! Of course, the new JL Audio TW5 might fit your needs but it costs $350 a sub!

Here's my setup. I can flip it over like the original panel so I can still store the t-tops.
I also like the setup of the OE head unit, everything is right there on the front panel, no accessing sub-menus for the EQ, and big buttons to access presets. Also cool how at night the buttons numbers change, depending on if you are listening to the radio or CD.

That's a good looking sub. I haven't seen subs that require the same air space for ported and sealed before- I'd like to hear your review of the sub when you get it installed.

I had it in my Dakota before but it was also in a box around .3 cubic feet hahaha... it was a regular cab and had no room so i just threw a box together to get it in there... it sounded nice at low volume but once it got above 1/2 volume it was all distorted.... i will let you guys no how it sounds with the new box when it comes in

What sub is that? It looks like a steel grate covering it or a carbon fiber mat

I saw a company that was making a stealthbox for the right side as well (have to cut the trim peice) but I can't remember who it was- anybody's brain not as fried as mine and know who I'm talking about?

People with your amp mounted under the hatch latch on the back wall ... did you make or buy a rack type of thing to mount it? I don't know where to mount mine and that's an ideal place

You might be talking to me. I put my amp under the hatch latch, I drilled a few small holes in the hatch well to put the screws that mount the amp there. The only downfall is I forgot that the hatch shades mount up against that rear well wall, and the amp kind of bends the shades when I have them stored there.

Otherwise, I don't have a rack to mount the amp.

That looks really nice, but did you loose all the trunk space? Where do the T-tops go?

if you'll notice, in the front of the box, there is a slit that the t-tops will slide into. the original t-top holders were removed, but they slide in there nice & snug.
