Kill Switch
Before you think I'm crazy for throwing a kill switch in, I live in a nice area BUT there's lot of cars being broken into, stolen, ect near me so I'm wanting to install a kill switch but I want it to be 100% creative but I'm not so sure what I want to do yet. BF says under the floor mats but I will end up stepping on it at inappropriate times. I figure good thieves are usually as creative as they get so I need some suggestions. Or what do you guys have as a kill switch?

Install a small push button switch inside the lighter socket and create a dummy knob.

Here's a few suggestions:
Underneath your trunk release in the glove box you can install a push button toggle switch
Using a relay, you could wire your seatbelt light to the starter wires....so unless the seatbelt is plugged in, the car won't start.
Depending the year and model of your car, your door panels have storage pockets and you could put a switch into those.
My favorite suggestion: see my starter button post. My car can only be started by pushing a hidden button. The downside is that eventually the relay will fail and you will be unable to start the car at all unless you hook some wires back together to bypass the relay.
Good luck with your project!
