I want switches....
EMBLEMPROS.COM - GM LICENSED AND CUSTOM VEHICLE EMBLEMS - 1997 - 2002 Automatic F-Body Ashtray Switchplate
I want to do this, but I want to have one for ignition, where it has to be on before the car will start.
1 or 2 for the fans
and the fourth for something else, line lock, cut out, something i dont have installed yet.
any ideas?

So your looking for a killswitch. Typically, you want to make them hard to find, they work better as a theft deterrent that way. I would just label the killswitch in the ashtray as something else. Also, you can tap several things, but I've heard the neutral safety line on the clutch is the most common. So I would use that one, especially since is a low load circuit.
For the fan, you'll only need one switch, it should be a three position, which they discuss on their website.

yeah, 1 as a kill switch, 1 for fans, then other things, maybe a water pump if i ever get one.
a buddy of mine did that, electric fans, electric pump, he could leave them running between track runs to cool the engine off faster

That's what I want the fans for too. I'm trying to make a way to time them, so you can walk away from your vehicle and not worry how long they've been running.
