    Question HELP! new amp

I am in the middle of a full stereo upgrade on my 98 Trans Am and am still wondering:

Where on the firewall do I run the amp power wire thru?

    PLEASE ADVISE.

Through the firewall under the heater/ac box. If you don't use a rubber gourment for the hole make sure you run some "black" tape around the wire a few times.
The fuse needs to be as close to the batt. as it can be. Mounted.
Don't be afraid of the bottle!!! Be afraid of your tune!!!

The sheet metal will cut the tape just as easily as it will the wire's insullation. Use a grommet or you're asking for trouble.

I did what most folks do and ran the power wire thru the existing hole in the firewall beneath the pcm

    Thumbs up Thanks

I appreciate the input. Can't wait to get this done. I post a thread when I'm finished. The boxes turned out awesome.
