Going to change the Factory radio

Hey all, I have a 97 Z-28 that I want to change the head unit in and I have seen alot of posts about Monsoon systems but I don't think that is what I have. My factory head unit only says Delco Electronics on it not monsoon so I am not sure if I have a factory amp anywere in the car. Can anyone tell me if I need to be looking for a factory amp or am I good to just hook up a new head unit? I have looked and there are 6 speakers in the car so I'm not sure how that will all work when I change the head unit. any tips would be great.

I just went and bought an adapter and a harness adapter. I now have the HUmount.

not sure about the camaros, but on the T/As, the monsoon amp is located infront of the spare tire, mounted on a black plastic piece. You can only see the black plastic (the amp is facing the outside of the car) when looking at the spare tire location.

Hi if its posible do the same thing i did put new speakers and after market radio u dont need the oem amp . i put 6 new speakers "Kicker" Clarion radio and that sound beautiful + i bouth 1 Sub Kicker and Amp Kicker also with custom box tha go to the left side of the trunk all togetter give me the best sound of music ) i can send some picture if u ar intresting
