Fog lights

Whenever i turn my fog lights on the y dont come on until i hit a bump ... Could this be as easy as a loose connection??? The light on the switch doesnt light up until i hit a bump either

Not sure but the foglights on our cars are pos!

It might be a connection issues. You may also have a short somewhere. I would check the connection at the light it self and check the fuse. If the problem is not there you will need to chase down the short. That can take some work.

Is there a kit that can replace the stock foglights for brighter ones? THat will work with factory harness?

You can always swap the bulbs out with Sylvania SilverStar ULTRA's.

Thanks for the info. I just replaced the stock bulbs with new stock ones, and realized that the lenses are so crapped up, that I am thinking of trying to modify the space where the stockers are at. Since the car is going to need a complete paint job, and some body work, I figured now is the time to start tinkering with changes on it before final body and paint. I want to see if I can get something larger to fit (with help) in the fog light locations.
