    Fog Lamp Full Time

How can I rig it up so fog lights run not only when dims are on, but when brights are on also, I know it has to be an easy wiring issue, I can hear the relay, so I roughly know where it is located.

This is waht I got for the low + high-beam mod:
    http://www.painlessperformance.com/I...rchField=30823

Although it doesn't mention f-body, that's what i got, it's the exact same thing.
It's a relay, and you connect with the green and brown wire... and that's it... takes 5 minutes.
great mod... whenever i do highs, my low stay on, so i can still see the road well.

highs and lows run together on a T/A

To run fogs with the highs and lows you need to find the green wire at the fuse box for the foglight relay, cut it and run the end coming from the relay to a ground. I did this today its awsome.

Thanks for that link, just curious why you cut the same green wire twice on the Fog Light part???

just wanting make sure that with this mod you still have full control over whether highs are on/off versus being on all the time, and also that you have control of fogs being on/off versus on all the time, thanks

I am planning on installing HID and wanted to still be able to flash lights etc and not shorten the life of the ballast

Before I found these websites I did the work of tracing out my own wiring when I did this mod to my 01 TA. First of all the green wire changes from a ground to positive when the high beams are turned on so you have to cut/insulate it to prevent a short. Then ground out the relay side of the green wire. The reason that article shows grounding the green wire at the switch also is because thats for the camaro. They do it so the switch will still light up when fogs are on but on the TA the wiring is different, you dont have to ground any wire. At least thats what I found, my lights and switch work fine. I dont even remember a green wire..........

Also, you will have control over your lights like you want.

Does anybody know why you cut the same green wire twice, why not just a single cut and ground both sides??? that is more or less what the instructions say or is the green wire the write-up calls out not the same actual wire and jsut 2 different green wires

You cut the one going to the fusebox to make your lights stay on w/ the highbeams.

You cut the one above the radio to make the BUTTON on the foglight switch not go out when the high-beams turn on.

PS: how do you actually get the fusebox UP?
