Mystic Teal- 1999 Camaro Z28 - A4
Elemental Design's EU700?!?!?!?!?!
I was wanting to replace the speakers in the sail panel pretty soon with something that could give me a little thump... I was pretty set on the EU700's from Elemental Design's... But it looks like they're discontinued... I tried Ebay with no luck as well... What is the replacement, or the next best thing, for these?

CDT Midbass Drivers powered by a aftermarket amp. would give you what you want , but quality comes at a price.

Mystic Teal Metallic 79U- 1998 Pontiac Trans Am
Check out the Bazooka subs there also. They are like the eD's but don't require all the cutting behind and 1/2" spacers the eD's do.
Keep in mind also that output is dependant on the amp as well. You will gain some power output because the subs are better quality then stock and be able to handle more power without distorting but remember your amp will not be pushing any more wattage so actual power output won't really be more.

My life is a- Ben Stiller movie.
They replaced it with the 7kv, and replaced those again with this one:

I called and they said the dimensions on line are wrong and it should fit the fbody 6.5" hole.

did you install them yet? is it true that its plug and play? (with the exception of screwing the speaker in)
let me know how they sound. big improvment over the stock subs?
im looking to do something soon, but there are so many options. the fan favorite the eu700s, the bazookas, the kickers, or run a powered stealthbox with a 10" sub. i want to run the stock HU so my options are kinda limited. i dont want anything outrageous, just a little crisper and deeper. if i can get what im looking for with a $120 investment then ill def do it.
