    Drive side window just quit

So I've notice that it has been slowing down more and more over the last few months, and well today is quit half way up. Whats the most commen replacement? The whole motor or just the switch?

Sounds like classic motor failure, mine did that and finally quit one day. Keep trying to get it closed, sometimes when it cools down it'll go up a little at a time.

I got the window back up. I popped off the panel and messed with the switch. The window moves fine if I play with the switch so I just ordered a new GM switch. Hopefully that will take care of it. I have a feeling I'll be replacing the motor soon. From what I have read, the motors are all good till about 60-70 miles. Hey whats the company that makes some kindof wire set to speed up the window action?

autotrix you definately need to get ahold of them even if your motors not out yet, it will be soon. their passenger side fix (helps both the passenger side and drivers) is the first must do

HAHA great sales pitch... Yea I have known about your place just couldn’t remember the name. I replaced the switch and its working fine now. Actually moves faster too, mostly likely because it’s getting more juice now that it has a clean connection. If and when the motor craps out, I will add that part too.
