dead car due to speakers?
so my car has been acting funny lately...slow start ups rough idle...i start my car and the rear speaker pops...dont know why...as soon as i hit the lock botton...the front speakers make a whistling sound...i got a new battery thinking that would solve the problem but it changed nothing
i replaced the stockers with apline type r components and tweeters...straight to the hu, just rewired everything...could this be the problem?

I've been out of the Car audio scene for quite some time, but I have never heard of a system causing a rough idle. The noises and whistles sounds kinda like an aternator whine/ feedback, If you have an Amp, then make sure your ground and remote/power are ran on seperate sides of the car (that usually helps that) also make sure your connections don't have excess bare wire showing.
Last suggestion would be, if you are running amps, maybe try getting a fared cap to reduce to draw from the battery during peak times, like when you turn on/ turn off, and when base hits.
