Navy Blue Metallic- 2002 Trans Am WS6 NBM
Dead Battery
I have a 2002 WS.6. I got it this June and this is my first car I had to store for the winter. I am looking for opinions on what I should do to stop my battery from dying. I havent started it in 2 months and the battery is dead. Do i just jump it when I need it, or should I disconnect it until i need it? What does everyone do? Thanks.

I have charged dead batteries with my tender. Again it just takes days. My tender is 1.25 amp battery charger designed to fully charge a battery and maintain it at proper storage voltage without the damaging effects caused by trickle chargers. Now if you get like a 6 amp charger you can charge in about 6 to 8 hours.. But again a tender is a charger... At least mine is..

like he said if your adding amps you are recharging it. It just takes 4 to 5 times as long.
To the OP. If it sits in a storage unit away from your house and has no heat to add I would pull it and take it home and put a tender on it. This is what I have to do during the winter with my boat.
