Black/Black- 2000 Trans Am WS6 A4
Is a CS-144 upgrade possible from the CS-130D Alternator?
I can't seem to find a real answer anywhere... I hear rumors on different websites that a CS-144 will fit in, with slight bending of the power steering lines... then some say it will fit with no modification...
I'm hoping someone on here has done it...
do I need a new bracket or harness?
The reason I ask is because I need a higher-output alternator, and the CS130Ds are way over-priced for the ouput... a larger 144 would be ideal, if possible.
Thanks in advance,
Steve

I can't believe no one has done this before! I may have to go get a damaged one from the junk yard and see how it mounts up...
