    Class D amp

Would you recommend a Class D amp for mid and high range speakers? I already have a bass box and a separate amp for that.

    NO!!

If you are going for any type of sound quality than that would be a major mistake. I would highly suggest you buy a REAL old school class A/B amp. You can find MANY on Ebay for cheap that are real american amps NOT the Jap junk at Best Buy.
    What are you pushing?
Also how much do you want to spend.

I'm an avid audiophile and have a extensive collection so I can aid you in the right direction.
