    Changing Steering Wheels

I just finished putting in a new stereo in my '98 z28, where the steering wheel did not come with the audio controls. I don't suppose there's any reason why I would not be able to exchange out my steering wheel with a wheel from a newer model with the audio controls, right?

The wheels seems to be the same. I would say yes, but I would have someone else that knows better to tell you.

Someone on the board did this already. I think if you check the posts you might find all the info on doing it.

I'm in the process of doing this right now. I purchased the steering wheel first with airbag and found out you need the clockspring out of the 00-02 steering column to plug in the airbag and control harness (the airbad plug is different than the 98'). I ended up getting a complete steering column out of a 2001 for $37.50 on ebay so I'll be doing the install soon.
