    CD Changer Question

I got a used factory CD changer off eBay and it doesn't work properly.

The seller (100% FEEDBACK) suggested that it needed synchronizing with my system.

Is this an accurate statement or BS?

I thought you could just plug it up and go.

    Thanks for any info!

    Hey Cjrex,

I'm calling bullshit on it. i purchased a 12 disk for my 98 WS6 off of ebay, pluged it in, loaded disks and hit play. No problems what so ever, other than when i didnt have it secured down and it slid out into the trunk when i took a corner too hard.. it gave an error code, unpluged it pluged it back in no problems since.

I have a Monsoon system, I'm thinking that all the cd changers were on monsoon systems but what is the factory part number for the changer.

I believe all changers were in Monsoon systems and did not need synchronizing.
