Red- 2001 Camaro SS
Can i install an iphone in a 4th gen camaro??
Ok, i've got an iphone that i would like to hook up to my stock headunit.
I've got an '01 SS, and nothing else to brag about.
My question is... what system out there will give me steering wheel controls, charge my iphone and let me use my iphone to change the songs if i want to?
I've heard and read alot, but nothing is on the iphone in a Camaro. Most write ups are on the itouch or an ipod, but not in camaros.
HELP!!!!

I have heard of there being different kinds of adapters that plug in where the cd changer would go. If you can find a bluetooth one, you could stream the music via bluetooth. At least I assume an iphone can do that, pretty much any new phone can these days.

isn't the apple headset (the cute little $125 thing...JEEZ ) a bluetooth headset? You can't hear music in it?
So buying the cool dock/earpiece charger thing is all for nothing?? Dammit!!

White; Navy Blue Metallic- '01 SS Vert.;'02 RS Coupe
I used the USA Spec PA11 – GM45 (~$100 on eBay, but make sure you get one that has hybrid mode!) in my '01 SS to the stock Monsoon -- it works, but is a little slow to respond sometimes, but overall works fine. I would rather have a Bluetooth solution, but this seemed to be the best solution I could discover... Simple to install too, and retains steering wheel controls!
The USA Spec devices uses your CD Changer port to control things, and has a y-cable so you could even still connect your CD Changer -- if you have one, or even if you have the cable routed to your trunk from the factory with none there (like I did).
