    A/C Heat back lights

I got an Alpine IVA-D310 flip up 7" touch creen with my car. I noticed the back lights for the air controls don't light at night. Is this normal after installing an aftermarket face? Anybody know how to fix or do I need to just start playing with wires? The steering wheel controls don't work with it, but the manual said this model works with steering wheel controls. Any tips on how to wire?

Most likely you'll need a PAC SWIX (steering wheel interface controller). Easy to wire and setup- you just need to see which works with your head unit.

As for the lights- check to make sure the bulbs aren't blown (two small bulbs, you can get to them by taking the radio out- they're right at the top.) If they went out when you hooked up the radio, double check the dimmer wire on the radio.

I finally bought 2 new bulbs and replaced the old ones. Lights came on, working just fine.
