I ran a set of Bazookas with a Kenwood amp in my Eagle Talon a few years back. I thought they sounded pretty good.

I would suggest an aftermarket amp rated for the RMS rating of the Bazooka tubes.

Are the stock subs 2 ohm or 4 ohm (or something else) in our cars?

I have 2 of the 6.5" active tubes in my truck. They sound pretty good IMO. I'm sure they're probably the same sub.

I believe they are 2 ohm subs, not a 100% though. Thats why I was looking for reviews, cuz the bazookas are 4 ohm

Have you heard them off the stock monsoon out of curiosity? I was thinking a 1200 watt 4 channel, bridge 2 for a stealth box with a 10" and the other 2 channels to the bazookas. I'm thinking that would be a nice thump with out it being too much.

I have not. I ran two 12" MTX subs in a custom rear hatch box in my 96 Camaro. Each ran off a separate mono amp that was only rated for 250 watts. I also ran components up front (Polk) along with the 6.5" sail panel Polk speakers off of a 4-channel MTX Pro504 amplifier that has a built in EQ and crossover. My Kenwood Excelon head unit had built in crossover and amplifier settings for the 2 mono amps running the subs. That system sounded phenomenal.

^^ I had Polk component speakers in the front of my Talon. They sounded great.

Polk makes some of the best speakers on the market. I have had a set of teardrops components speakers for well over 20 years now, and they still sound great. I do crank them up sometimes, but most of the time listen to the LS1 and blower sounds instead!
