Bass Blockers

Not camaro related,

I'm replacing the front speakers in my cobalt because my wife killed them with her boom-wicky-wicky music. Everything in the car (speakers and headunit) is factory. If i put bass blockers on the speakers will it stop justin timberlake from killing them? And if so, how much bass does it block? I don't want to lose all bass, i just want a governor on them shits.

most bass blockers will eliminate almost all bass, its good to have on certain setups on certain speakers, but not always necessary.

in your case, i would say its absolutely necessary! lol. Or you could just upgrade!

Definitely UPGRADE. I don't think I can be in a car that sounds like it's full of tweeters. lol. IMO

They don't just 'govern' it, they cut low frequecies all together...she will not be happy with you! the fix is much easier--take the 'bass' knob, menu, whatever it happens to be and crank that bitch down! upgrading speakers alone won't fix anything--either look into a subwoofer to handle her demands, or turn that knob to the left!
