Aux.-input jack 2000 Monsoon HD

Hello Everyone,

I need to know if any one can help me. I am trying to install an Aux-Input

jack into the stock Monsoon Head Unit of my 2000 Camaro SS for my I-pod.

I believe i can tie this into the CD player being it a self contained unit.

But in need to know has anyone attemped this yet, and if so how?

Or can someone tell me whick is the left and right channels on the CD

Connector to the main board. If anyone can help please share your

Knowledge with me.

I checked out what you guys were talking about. The site with Jason Novak,

his was a 98 monsoon HU and mine is a 2000 monsoon HU. The 98 has 14

wires in the CD Connector plug and the 2000 has 15 wires and the are not

all white with one black ground like the 98. So i need to know how to test

them for sound without frying my Head Unit or if someone has a wire

schematic of this. But i appreciate every responce you guys give cause you

never know if it might just work fro you. So please keep the ideas coming.

There is an adapter you can use with the CD changer cable in the hatch.
