I used the 62.9 in mine idk if the 652.9 will fit as they are a slightly different size and the 62.9 fit perfect. At any rate though the install is very easy if you know how to use a soldering gun... When you pull your old door speaker out you will see 4 wires going into it 2 will be for the tweeter and the other 2 will be for the cone. On your Infinity you will have only 2 wires coming out, if you look on the rear magnet you will see 2 wires under the taped label cut these two wires and strip them. Then solder them to the original tweeter wires coming out of the car and hook the 2 cone wires from the infinity into the other body harness and your done!
this writeup may also help but its for the older 62.7 http://www.ls1.com/forums/f50/camaro...writeup-29204/

yes the 652.9i's from the pics on crutchfield look exactly like my 62.9 the little black and white wire is what i cut and soldered to the tweeter harness coming from the car then I just hooked up the main speaker harness to the other body harness in the car. If you need help I'm in the ucf area I'd be happy to lend you a hand one day if its a little overwhelming for ya.

Black- 2001 Z28
Has anyone installed Infinity Kappa 62.11i speakers in their doors yet? If so, how's the fit and is the wire splicing that is needed the same as the procedure in the posts about the Kappa 62.9i speakers? I'm thinking about replacing my 2001 Z28 Coupe OEM door speakers with these.
