AM radio and keyless entry

If I change my Monsoon radio to an AM system will my keyless entry stop working or is there a way to make it so I can still use remotes?

The FOB should still work without issues. Does your Monsoon not have AM on it?

Why would it not?? The fob has nothing to do with the stock stereo. Sorry I must not be following what you're thinking..

A lot of GM vehicles had gone to the BUS system, and the entire electrical system was a daisy chain. The idea being, you can remove and replace one part to an aftermarket part, and the chain would be alive still, as it would flow in both directions, even if it didnt make a full loop.

That said, when you replaced a SECOND component out of the BUS system, it would impede the system from running properly.

Either way, no. 4th gen f bodies, even 02s, never had the bus system. Replace to your hearts content.

You will not have any trouble.
