alarm system
idunno if this is in the right place but here i go. I have a 96 z28 and i bought the car with no alarm remote. The previous owner must have broken it or something. so everytime i open my car with the key i have to turn the car on so the alarm wont sound. it gets annoying. My friend has a 96 SS and has an extra factory alarm remote, but its not programmed to his car. Is there anyway to program it? My car has an alarm, but no remote. and i honestly dont wanna pay for a completely new alarm system.

Yes you can reprogram that remote. I do not know how for your year but you should be able to google it.
