aftermarket alarm?
I have a 98 SS and wondering if my alarm system is aftermarket. There is a small blue led bulb on the panel to the left of the steering wheel. Did our cars come with that bulb in the dash or does that mean someone installed an aftermarket system? Car's alarm system has been going off everytime I bump the car or open the door and continues flashing pretty much the whole time I'm driving. Tried programming a key fob remote as some have said to try and didn't help. I know most of you will probably say to do the VATS bypass but I cant find anything under dash that looks like the pictures of where I'm supposed to bypass. If my car does have aftermarket system is it possible to just disconnect it? thanks
