    12 CD changer install

I have a Monsoon stereo system in my 2000 T/A with the single CD in the head unit. I got a GM/Pioneer 12 CD changer from a guy parting out his 1999 (or it might be a 2000) Z28 Camaro. I've heard that there's a plug in the rear hatch area already in the stereo wiring harness and the CD changer just takes the plug directly with no additional wiring... Well, I can't find the plug! Also, how is the CD changer mounted in a T/A? It's got to be on the driver's side in the back, 'cuz the spare's on the passenger side. Where are the mounting holes etc.? Thanks!

the plug should be attached to the left rear speaker wire, kinda taped up together with it. If it wasn't used from the factory, thats where it will be. You'll have to remove the panel to access it. I'm pretty sure the changer was mounted back there somewhere on the left hand side aswell. Theres a space on the side where it could easily be placed. I plan on putting one in my car also.
