Much depends on the drivers...with that said a Goat should be able to pull it no problem...stock for stock.....the Goat is getting more to the ground...

    Both white
    An LT1 and an LS1

Depends on the year of the GTO.

2005-06 GTOs have the LS2 with 400hp and run well, quite a bit better than a similarly-modded 2004, which had an LS1. If you're talking a 2004 GTO, I'd bet on the FBody.

Unless he was running me he means... of course. 04 GTO against a like modded FBody is a drivers race.

Any word on the ET's of a stock LS2 GTO?

    I had a 99 SS that ran 13.3 @ 107 stock (best time), typically 13.4-13.5 @ 105-106.

The 99 SS was factory rated at 320 HP, though the dyno showed 300 RWHP. It seems the GTO would show a fair amount better.

Finally, it seems the stock tires would hold the GTO back. They are not as wide as the stock SS tires, which were 275/40s.

I've got about 1500 miles my GTO. I want to get it out to the track when it has a few more miles and I have time. I'm thinking October / November. (Also when it's a little cooler out). I'll let you guys know.

Allen Nelson two weeks ago ran a 13.2 @113 MPH Bone ass stock in his 05 GTO at Marion Raceway here in San Anotnio. All it had was his tune on it.

That's pretty good. The 113 shows the extra hp, but I was thinking it would do better than 13.2. Do you think the stock tires cost it a couple tenths?

Oh yes...he is running Toyo's and spun like a bitch...but a funny side note...there was another 05 GTO there....heads/cam/headers/tune/gears the works...ran a 13.1 and trapped at 111...LOL he was pissed....
Another side note...it was hotter than hell....12's easy in 80 or less weather....
