Would i be running lean
I have a 04 gto why would my car be getting 12.9 mpg( i think i might be running lean but wouldn't it throw a code). I have long tube headers, a diablo tune, a cold air intake, a bigger Mass air Flow, and a pair off one chamber flow-masters. What do u think. Also when i try to lanch at about 1300 rpm it kinda sputters before taking of whats up with that do i need to up my lunch point or is something wrong.

It sounds rich if anything. 12.9 mpg is bad. Unless you're WOT every other run.
You might try launching at say...3500-4k rpms.

Often times it is bad O2 sensors making you run so rich.

Hmm. I had the same problem before my tune, my car was wanting 10-15 percent more fuel in the low to mid rpms. Also what headers do you have, and if they are pacesetter's did you splice and lengthen the wires or did you buy 02 extensions??

OK we fixed his wiring problem ( via PM's) .....He either has a bad sensor signaling for more fuel or his tunes is crap. I told him to replace the sensors and reset the ECM. IF it is still running rich it is the tune.

Phantom Black Metallic- 2004 GTO Maggie Blown
Get it on a dyno and check the a/f with a w/b and have it tuned there also.

I ended up soldering mine, and now they work like a champ.... I don't believe the sensors are bad.. its the crimp splices...
